Firefox

Firefox is run by Mozilla, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting your privacy. Do they actually do that? Maybe. There are numerous potential issues with Mozilla and Firefox when it comes to actually supporting privacy as a default. However, the simple fact is that all major browsers excluding Safari are now Chromium based. This means that without Apple or Mozilla, Google would have their hands around our access of the internet regardless of browser or device choice. This is a clear monopoly, which is not good. Is it telling that Google began their company with “Don’t be evil” in their code of conduct, but then de-emphasized it as the invasive ad/tracking money rolled in? You tell me.
